Costume
Particular attention is given to the design and quality of our costumes which are as authentic as possible.
Whether it is a period evening dress, such as Regency or Victorian to enhance a gala performance or a full
production, the costumes will be of the highest quality and style.
Bespoke performances
The company has undertaken specific commissions on many occasions, which included the first performance in
costume of Elgar's only opera 'The Spanish Lady' at Madresfield Court
Last Night of the Proms
A programme of well-known opera and operetta in period costume and ending with the traditional selection
from the ever popular 'Last Night of the Proms'. This includes traditonal flag-waving and audience
participation in 'Jerusalem', 'Rule Britannia' and 'Land of Hope and Glory'.
A Christmas Celebration of Opera and Song
Queen Victoria's consort Prince Albert was responsible for introducing many of our present Christmas
customs, and the Victorian period epitomises Yuletide celebrations at their best and most romantic. Our
artists present this programme in authentic Victorian costume helping to recreate a Christmas of times
gone by. The repertoire includes opera and operetta with a seasonal theme in addition to a selection of
popular carols for everyone to join in.

'A Night at the Opera'
This programme of popular arias and ensembles is ideal for a Festival and Music Club as well as for a
corporate, charity or private event or large scale outdoor performance.
The performances can include the music of Mozart, Verdi, Bizet, Rossini and Puccini and also pieces from the world of the operettas of Gilbert and Sullivan and the musicals of Gershwin, Bernstein and Lloyd Webber.

Highlight Performances
This series offers the key scenes from operas such as 'La Traviata', 'The Magic Flute', 'Madame Butterfly'
and 'Carmen' dramatised and in full costume. The performances, which last approximately one hour are ideal
for a festival or special event. The opera can be followed by a short 'Opera Gala' to make a two part
entertainment with an interval break.

Full Opera Production
This series includes our programme 'A Night at the Opera' in an extended form, performed in two parts
with an interval break, and full productions in costume of 'La Traviata', 'Madame Butterfly', 'Cosi fan
tutte' and 'La Bohème'. Other operas can be undertaken on a commission basis.
